I think it is fabulous that you are spending time right now seeing the world, thinking about big issues and sharing them. It will be life changing for you.
I am doing well, had a good summer and am enjoying moving into fall and the holidays. hope you will be in Pacific Grove for the holidays. we would all love to see you and talk in person and share stories.
The whole education institution is getting questioned a lot lately, a good thing. When Norah and Suzanne started school , I was shocked to find out how little the whole process had changed since I was in school, it made no sense. Wasnt there tons of research happening about how to educate children? Why werent changes happening to the system? it needed change, I thought. I believe there are basic skills we need , but also believe that from the beginning children should be encouraged and given the chance to find something they love and spend time learning about it and exploring it, really to participate in a big way in their education.
